“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." - Matthew 28:19

Baptism is one of the ordinances of the Church given by command of the Lord. It is a part of the worship, witness and mission of the Church. As God’s enacted word, it proclaims the gospel.

In baptism, the immersion of the believer symbolizes his death to sin and his resurrection to a new life created in his salvation experience. It is an act of commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Baptism Ministry needs men and women to supervise the preparation of the baptistery and the equipment. They may also assist the candidates as they dress for the ordinance. A servant’s heart is needed for this ministry.
