Solo Ministry

“My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you – I, whom you have redeemed. My tongue will tell of your righteous acts all day long…” - Psalm 71:23-24

Solos, trios and ensembles are other avenues through which people can express a heart of worship to the Lord and to minister to the Body. The Lord has led us to develop continuity and purposeful direction in our corporate worship times. The congregational singing, choir anthems, solos, ensembles, prayer times, etc. must be tied together for flow. The best way to accomplish this with solos is not to assign dates for you to “work something up” but for you to ask the Lord to put a song on your heart, one that has ministered particularly to you, and then get you plugged in to a service where you can minister out of an overflow of the Lord ministering to you.

So, if the Lord has gifted you with a soloist voice, how do you get involved? For more information please contact Jeff Hatcher (539-0622 ext. 209).
