Student Praise Team and Band

“Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” - 1 Timothy 4:12

The Bible tells us that God the Father is looking for true worshippers. When true worship takes place, the presence and power of God will be evident among us. If it is our desire to consistently experience His presence and power, then worship is not an option.

The purpose of these ministry teams is to equip students to become worshipers who are able to effectively lead others to worship the Lord. The praise team will learn 2 and 3 part harmony to songs that are relevant to the youth culture. The band will be the accompaniment for the praise team. Both groups will lead worship in the weekly youth meetings and occasionally on Sunday mornings and evenings in the corporate worship settings.

The Student Praise Team rehearses on Sundays at 4:15 p.m. in the choir rehearsal room and the Student Band rehearses on Mondays at 4:00 p.m. in the youth house.
