Sweet Potato Dumplings
Ingredients:
8 round sweet potato patties (found in the freezer section)
2 packages crescent rolls
1 ½ cups sugar
1 1/2 cups water
1 ½ sticks butter
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla flavoring
Directions:
Spray a 9 X 13 dish with Pam. Unroll crescent rolls and separate. Place ½ of the sweet potato patty on the large end of a crescent roll and roll it up. This will make 16 roll ups. Place in the pan. Put water, sugar and butter in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour over roll ups and then sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes or until brown.
