THE LADIES CONNECTION: HEART TO HEART

The Ladies Connection (TLC) Ministry exists to encourage women of all ages in their journey of “connecting life with faith in Christ”, and provide opportunities for women in discipleship, relationship and service.

TLC believes that authentic, Christ-honoring relationships (heart to heart) are vital within the various areas of women’s ministry. Women may seek opportunities for discipleship through our Women’s Sunday School classes, weekly Bible studies, prayer groups, as well as service and mission opportunities. Relational opportunities are encouraged through smaller connections or large group gatherings to assist women to grow in their relationship with Christ and one another. As women grow in their faith, TLC desires to undergird them with prayerful support and encourage them as they discover, explore, and use their spiritual gifts in service to the Body and to the community in love and unity of spirit. Any woman of any age is warmly invited to be a part of TLC and to help build a Women’s Ministry at Southside Baptist Church that will glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in word, thought, and deed.

“My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” — Colossians 2:2-3

Encourage Discipleship; Promote Obedience; Foster Relationships; & Encourage Prayer:

“…to promote obedience to the faith and make disciples for His name's sake among all the nations…” — Romans 1:5 (amplified)

Love, Encourage and Spur One Another On:

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” — Hebrews 10:24-25

Promote Unity of the body:

“I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.” — 1 Corinthians 1:10
