September 20, 2009 meetingDream Team Meeting Report (September 20, 2009) Began with various members leading the group in prayer. Continued working on a mission statement that summarized the Great Commission and Great Commandment. Spent most of the time working on the mission statement. The pastor handed out an article from Leadership Journal for them to include in their reading: “The Gap: The fractured world of multi-generational church leadership” by John Ortberg.

August 6, 2009 Lost and Found ConferenceDream Team Meeting Report (August 6, 2009) All but one team member was able to attend the “Lost and Found” conference in Decatur led by Ed Stetzer. Ed Stetzer is director of LifeWay Research and missiologist in residence at LifeWay Christian Resources in Nashville, Tennessee. He holds two masters and two doctoral degrees and has written dozens of respected articles and books including Planting Missional Churches, Breaking the Missional Code, Comeback Churches, and Compelled by Love.
